2 w./ four scenes

Magda Schuller, an attractive and athletic older woman in her 70's, goes jogging in a park one morning. There she is confronted by Sunrise, a white robbed young girl offering roses and the wisdom of her new "Holy Mystic, the most benign leader, Mansa Poorna." During the course of their morning, twilight and evening encounters, Sunrise relates the tragedy that ended her own promising career in music, while Magda reveals the events that lead to her becoming one of this century's most famous film makers and the Third Reich's most infamous artist. In the last surreal scene, Magda finally has the trial she has asked for to vindicate her life and her work. These two women, generations and worlds apart, seek to find some common ground as they question their relationship, their dreams and the role of the artist to their times, their patrons, their art and themselves.
